Job Summary
Associate Veterinarian needed for in-home, mobile hospice practice in the Toledo, OH area. Role involves providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families, with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules,typically 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, and opportunities for mentorship and onboarding support. Work independently in a mobile setting with a guaranteed base salary plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Experience in veterinary medicine with a focus on end-of-life care is valued, along with strong communication and empathy to support families during meaningful moments.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD or equivalent
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Ohio
- Experience in veterinary hospice or end-of-life care preferred
- Ability to perform euthanasia in a compassionate manner
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work independently and manage mobile visits
- Flexibility to work 2-5 days per week
- Excellent patient and client care
