Job Summary
In-home mobile veterinary hospice role providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in Providence, RI and surrounding areas. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, allowing practice with purpose outside traditional clinics. Join a veterinarian-founded network with ongoing training, mentorship, and support while practicing independently. Relocation? not required. You’ll be part of a community of veterinarians, mentors, and a 24/7/365 support center, focusing on meaningful patient care, client communication, and balancing professional fulfillment with personal well-being.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- Licensed veterinarian in good standing in RI or ability to obtain
- Experience in veterinary hospice or end-of-life care preferred
- Excellent communication with clients and families
- Ability to work independently and manage in-home visits
- Compassion and emotional resilience for hospice care
