Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Grand Rapids, MI and surrounding areas. Provide mobile hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families, delivering compassionate, patient-centered veterinary services outside a traditional clinic. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, enabling a balanced life. Opportunity to practice medicine with purpose, receive onboarding and mentorship, and access a 24/7/365 Support Center while working largely independently within a supportive team.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- Licensed veterinarian in Michigan
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- Experience with in-home/mobile veterinary practice preferred
- Excellent communication skills with clients and families
- Comfort with end-of-life discussions and compassionate care
- Ability to work independently with mentorship support
