In-Home, mobile veterinary hospice role with Lap of Love in the Cleveland, OH area seeking an Associate Veterinarian. Provides compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets, delivering care directly to families in their homes, with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules and a focus on balanced, well-supported professional life. Includes onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing support while practicing independently. Requires DVM/VMD and Ohio licensure with experience in compassionate pet end-of-life care; hybrid opportunities and a guaranteed base salary of $45,000 annually for part-time roles, plus bonuses and benefits. Locations include Cleveland and surrounding areas (Grafton, OH).
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA accredited program
- state veterinary license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain
- ability to perform euthanasia and hospice care
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to practice independently with mentorship as needed
