Job Summary
In-home, Associate Veterinarian role serving Windsor, SC area (Aiken and surrounding locales) as a mobile veterinary hospice provider. Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care directly at families’ homes, with an emphasis on work-life balance, mentorship, and professional fulfillment. Flexible schedule (2–5 days/week), with a goal of fewer distractions and more meaningful time with pets and families. You’ll operate as part of a community of veterinarians and support staff, benefiting from onboarding, mentorship, and accessible leadership while practicing independently in a home-visit setting.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- Valid SC veterinary license
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- Strong client communication and empathy
- Ability to practice independently in mobile in-home setting
- Commitment to patient and family-centered care
- Flexibility for 2-5 days per week
- Demonstrated professional ethics and compassion
- Ability to manage time with un-rushed appointments (approx 3-4 per day)
- Comfort with working in non-clinic environments
