Job Summary
In-home, mobile veterinary hospice role serving Salem, OR and surrounding areas. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in their homes. Join a veterinarian-founded practice offering onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7/365 support, with opportunities to practice independently within a supportive network. This position emphasizes work-life balance, emotionally meaningful patient-care, and client-family rapport within Lap of Love’s mobile veterinary model.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD or equivalent from accredited college of veterinary medicine
- Current applicable veterinary license in good standing in state of practice
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- Strong communication and empathy for clients and pets
- Comfortable with independent practice within a supportive team
- Commitment to work-life balance and flexible scheduling
