Job Summary
In-home, Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Salem, OR and surrounding areas. Mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets, practicing with purpose and balance. Flexible 2–5 day/week schedules, limited daily appointments (approximately 3–4 un-rushed visits), comprehensive onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7 support. Opportunity to practice medicine independently within a supportive network of veterinarians; emphasis on compassionate family-centered care and work-life harmony.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Part-time availability (2-5 days per week)
- Ability to provide in-home/mobile hospice and euthanasia care
- Excellent communication with pet families and clients
- Comfort practicing independently with mentorship and support
