Job Summary
In-home pediatric hospice care? No — this is an in-home veterinary hospice role offering mobile, in-home veterinary services with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, focused on hospice and euthanasia care, independent practice, and mentorship/support structure. The role emphasizes meaningful, compassionate patient care, ~3–4 unhurried appointments per day, and opportunities for base salary with bonuses while serving families in the Mid-Hudson Valley, NY area (and surrounding areas) and Wharton, NJ. Candidates will practice veterinary medicine, provide compassionate hospice care, and work as part of Lap of Love's veterinarian-founded team with onboarding and ongoing mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- veterinary degree (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
- state veterinary license to practice in NY or NJ
- ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care
