In-home, part-time Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Grand Rapids, MI (and surrounding areas). The position focuses on mobile veterinary hospice and euthanasia care, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to pets and families with a flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule and an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. The role emphasizes practicing medicine with purpose outside traditional clinics, ongoing mentorship and onboarding, and a supportive network while enabling personal balance and professional fulfillment.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in Michigan or ability to obtain
- Mobile/in-home practice experience preferred
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
