Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Fredericksburg, VA and surrounding areas. Mobile veterinary practice providing hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Independent practice supported by onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 support center. Base salary of $55,000 annually for part-time roles, with bonus opportunities and benefits; full details for additional days (3-, 4-, or 5-day) available upon request. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) or equivalent
- current veterinary license in good standing
- ability to perform hospice and euthanasia services
- strong communication and empathy skills
- self-motivated and able to work independently
- willingness to travel to client homes for in-home visits
- capacity to handle emotionally charged conversations with families
