Job Summary
Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care as a mobile Associate Veterinarian serving Omaha, NE and surrounding areas. Deliver flexible, doctor-led care with autonomy within Lap of Love’s support framework, including onboarding and mentorship, while maintaining a balanced schedule (2–5 days per week, 3–4 appointments per day on average). Roles include practicing hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families, enabling meaningful, emotionally fulfilling veterinary work in a mobile, in-home setting with ongoing professional development and a supportive team.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed veterinarian in good standing
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited college
- current veterinary license for state(s) of practice
- ability to provide hospice and euthanasia services
- strong communication and empathy
- ability to work independently with mentorship available
- valid DEA registration for controlled substances (as applicable)
