Job Summary
In-home, mobile veterinary role providing hospice and euthanasia care for pets in the Pittsburgh area with a flexible, part-time schedule. The clinician will practice independently with mentorship and team support, conducting a manageable caseload (approximately 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day) while delivering compassionate care to families. The position emphasizes work-life balance, professional fulfillment, and a structured onboarding/mentorship program within Lap of Love’s nationwide veterinary hospice network. Candidates will operate as part of a licensed veterinary team, offering high-quality in-home veterinary services and client-centered care in a mobile setting.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania
- Ability to perform in-home veterinary care including hospice and euthanasia services
- Ability to work a flexible, part-time schedule (2-day/week) with potential for 3-4 days per week as needed
