Job Summary
In-home, mobile veterinary hospice role serving Fredericksburg, VA and surrounding areas. As a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian, provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets in clients’ homes, with a focus on work-life balance and personal fulfillment. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, ~3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, strong mentorship and onboarding, and access to a dedicated support center. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in good standing in Virginia
- Experience in hospice/palliative care preferred but not required
- Ability to perform euthanasia as part of hospice care (if applicable)
- Strong communication skills with pet families
- Ability to work independently in clients’ homes
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
