Job Summary
In-home, mobile veterinary hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families, operating in Albuquerque, NM and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes practicing with purpose in a flexible, independent manner within Lap of Love’s veterinary-hospice model, supported by onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 support structure. Expect flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, allowing deep engagement with families during meaningful moments while maintaining professional fulfillment and personal well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of NM or PA
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Commitment to professional mentorship and ongoing learning
