In-home, part-time Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Newton/Somerville, NJ. You’ll practice mobile hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families, delivering compassionate, patient-centered veterinary services on a flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule. The position emphasizes work-life balance, mentorship, ongoing training, and independent practice within a supportive network, handling end-of-life pet care with gratitude and professional fulfillment. Responsibilities include delivering hospice and euthanasia care to patients and families, coordinating with support staff, and maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine in a mobile, home-visit setting. Required Qualifications
- DVM degree or equivalent veterinary degree
- licensure in New Jersey (NJ)
- ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- experience with mobile/in-home veterinary practice is a plus
- compassionate patient care and communication with families
