Job Summary
In-home Associate Veterinarian role based in Newton, NJ (and surrounding areas) within a mobile veterinary hospice. You’ll provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in clients’ homes, practicing independent veterinary medicine with strong mentorship and onboarding support. The role offers flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, emphasizing work-life balance and personal fulfillment while maintaining high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD from accredited institution
- Current veterinary license in good standing
- Ability to perform euthanasia and provide hospice care
- Experience or interest in mobile/in-home veterinary services
- Strong communication and empathy with families
