Job Summary
In-home, mobile Associate Veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in Passaic, NJ and surrounding areas. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with un-rushed patient appointments, onboarding and mentorship, and the opportunity to practice independently while receiving support from a community of veterinarians and a 24/7/365 support center. Base salary $65,000 annually for part-time positions with bonus opportunities and benefits; practice focuses on compassionate care, work-life balance, and meaningful client relationships. Key duties include delivering compassionate veterinary care in clients’ homes, performing end-of-life services, and maintaining high-quality patient care with clear communication and professional empathy.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an accredited program
- Active veterinary license in good standing
- Ability to perform hospice and euthanasia care with compassionate communication
- Experience with mobile/in-home veterinary services preferred
