Job Summary
In-home Associate Veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care for pets in a mobile practice setting. Work-life balance is prioritized with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, 3–4 unhurried appointments per day, and a supportive culture. You will practice outside the traditional clinic, delivering compassionate medical care to families in their homes, with mentorship and ongoing training. The position emphasizes independence within a collaborative community of veterinarians, enabling meaningful, patient- and family-centered care in the Pittsburgh, PA area (Leechburg and nearby communities noted).
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited school
- Current veterinary license or ability to obtain in PA
- In-home/mobile veterinary experience preferred
- Compassionate hospice and euthanasia care experience or interest
- Strong communication and client-relations skills
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility to accommodate a part-time schedule (2-5 days per week)
