Job Summary
As a Part Time Associate Veterinarian, you will provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families as a mobile veterinarian, practicing independently with the support of Lap of Love’s mentorship and onboarding resources. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling (2–5 days per week) and un-rushed appointments (about 3–4 per day), allowing you to deliver compassionate veterinary care outside traditional clinics. You will join a large network of veterinarians and support staff, collaborate with experienced leaders, and maintain work–life balance while delivering meaningful, family-centered medical care to patients in Milwaukee, WI and surrounding areas. Skills/experience highlighted include: ambulatory mobile veterinary services, hospice and palliative care for companion animals, euthanasia care, ability to work autonomously, strong communication with pet families, and commitment to compassionate end-of-life care.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Wisconsin veterinary license
