In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in East Bay, CA (Moraga area): join Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice as a mobile hospice-focused veterinarian delivering in-home euthanasia and compassionate end-of-life care for pets and families. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week scheduling with a guaranteed base salary of $65,000 annually for part-time roles plus potential bonus opportunities; opportunities for more days and full-time compensation upon request. Practice medicine with independence within a supportive team, benefit from onboarding and mentorship, and maintain work–life balance while serving clients in their homes across the East Bay area. Locations noted include Moraga, CA.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree
- Licensed Veterinarian in California or ability to obtain license in CA
- Strong communication and empathy for clients and pets
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- Comfort with mobile/visiting-client practice
- Experience with end-of-life care and palliative approaches preferred
- Ability to work independently with mentorship support
- Flexible schedule availability (2-5 days per week)
