Job Summary
In-home, mobile Associate Veterinarian role in Fredericksburg, VA and surrounding areas. Provide hospice and euthanasia care to pets/families in clients’ homes as part of Lap of Love’s mobile practice. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with ~3–4 unhurried appointments per day, enabling work-life balance. Includes onboarding, mentorship, and access to a 24/7/365 Support Center; base salary of $55,000 annually for part-time roles with bonus opportunities and benefits. Opportunity to practice veterinary medicine with purpose and autonomy outside traditional clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed to practice in Virginia
- Ability to perform hospice and euthanasia care
- In-home/mobile veterinary experience preferred
