Job Summary
In-home, mobile veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care in the Pittsburgh area. Practice medicine with purpose outside of traditional clinics, visiting pets and families in their homes. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, offering a guaranteed base salary of $55,000 annually for part-time roles plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Includes onboarding, mentorship, and access to a 24/7/365 Support Center; opportunity to practice independently within Lap of Love’s supportive network.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary license
- Licensed veterinarian or eligibility to obtain license in Pennsylvania
- ability to perform hospice and euthanasia veterinary services
- excellent communication and compassion for pets and families
- ability to work independently in client homes
- flexible schedule and willingness to travel within the Pittsburgh area
