Job Summary
Part-time Associate Veterinarian role for an in-home mobile hospice/euthanasia practice in Wilkes-Barre, PA and surrounding areas. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Base salary of $45,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits; opportunities for onboarding and mentorship within a supportive team. Practice emphasizes compassionate, patient- and family-centered care outside traditional clinic settings. Locations include Wilkes-Barre and Jim Thorpe, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- PA veterinary license or equivalent license to practice in PA
- Ability to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care
- Strong client communication and empathy
- Capacity to work independently in a mobile/mobile-practice setting
- Flexibility to accommodate a 2- to 5-day work week
- Commitment to high-quality patient and family care
Desired Qualifications
