Job Summary
In-home, mobile associate veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in the St. Louis, MO area. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, enabling balance between professional fulfillment and personal life. Role supports veterinarians through onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7/365 support, with base salary of $55,000 annually for part-time (2-day/week) opportunities and additional bonus opportunities and benefits; locations include St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas, and Carlinville, IL. Practice independently in clients’ homes, delivering compassionate care while upholding Lap of Love’s culture and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinarian in good standing
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required
- Active veterinary license in Missouri or eligibility to practice in MO
- Experience in veterinary hospice or end-of-life care preferred
- Excellent client communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work independently and manage in-home visits
