Job Summary
In-home/mobile veterinary hospice role in Suffolk County, NY. Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets/families with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, averaging 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Opportunity to practice independently within Lap of Love's supportive structure, including onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time position with a guaranteed base salary of $65,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Location: Westbury, NY (Suffolk County) with in-home visits.
Required Qualifications
- In-Home veterinary experience preferred
- DVM or equivalent required
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia services
- Strong communication with families
- Ability to work independently within a supported network
- Flexible schedule availability
- Background in mobile veterinary practice beneficial
