Job Summary
In-home/mobile veterinary hospice role providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the Harrisburg, PA area. Flexible part-time schedule (2–5 days/week) with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, enabling professional fulfillment and work-life balance. Opportunity to practice independently within Lap of Love’s supportive culture, with onboarding, mentorship, and a dedicated support center. Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and be licensed to practice in PA; mobile/mobile in-home setting with emphasis on compassionate end-of-life care and family communication.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in PA
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work in-home/mobile setting
- Flexible schedule acceptance for 2-5 days per week
- Mentorship willingness and collaboration with team
