Job Summary
Conduct independent small animal veterinary practice across trusted hospital settings with clinical autonomy and no production quotas. Manage diverse cases including surgery, dentistry, ER, and urgent care while maintaining consistent support from dedicated medical leadership and mentorship. Work 1–3 days per week with a biweekly guaranteed salary, choosing your own schedule days through a dedicated coordinator to ensure predictability. Earn additional income by picking up extra shifts, which can be paid out or converted to PTO. Enjoy professional liability insurance, 401(k) with employer contribution, and access to a veterinary social worker for ongoing support.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
