Job Summary

Coordinate patient registration and front office duties by greeting patients, verifying insurance eligibility, collecting co-pays, and processing paperwork in a clinical setting. Utilize computer systems to enter patient data in real-time, gather clinical information for referrals, and manage pre-certification requests. Respond to inquiries regarding routine and sensitive topics with compassion while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of registration requirements across admitting, emergency, and maternity units. Generate and analyze patient data reports to follow up on inconsistencies. Requires flexibility to work 20 hours per week across shifts, primarily the second shift, with access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience in a hospital, office setting, customer service setting, or phone support role
