Job Summary
Lead preseason and season practices, monitor conditioning programs, and evaluate athlete performance and opponents' scouting. Assist in recruiting prospective student athletes, plan fundraising and special events, and drive university vans to practices, games, and meetings. Report to the Head Volleyball Coach while adhering to NCAA and university regulations, including passing the NCAA Certification exam for recruitment duties. Attend the annual athletic awards banquet, NE-10 conference meetings, all-star balloting, and department meetings. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of volleyball experience, and a valid driver's license. Based on SNHU's main campus in Manchester, NH.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of playing or coaching experience at the college, club, or high school level in volleyball
- Knowledge, observance, and commitment to all rules and regulations of the College, NE-IO, ECAC, and NCAA
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to transport athletes
- Ability to work flexible schedules to meet team needs
- NCAA Certification exam
