Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager for a self-storage facility with PART-TIME scheduling. Key duties include converting inquiries into storage rentals, conducting facility tours, ensuring clean and well-maintained premises, executing daily inspections, implementing marketing plans, representing the facility in local professional and community activities, participating in sales training and events, mentoring junior assistants, and managing rent collections with precise accounting. Requires excellent customer service, proven sales/marketing experience, ability to close leads, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs. High School diploma or GED required; college education a plus. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; pre-employment background screening is also required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma / GED equivalent
- Management experience in leasing, retail, or operation environment
- Previous experience in sales or marketing with a proven ability to generate business and close leads
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Energetic and open to new ideas and direction changes
- Must be able to stand for several hours and lift 25 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation
- Completion of pre-employment background screening
- Open availability including weekends
