Part Time - Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager with hiring, training, and developing team members while managing all store functions and day-to-day activities. Perform opening and closing procedures independently when the Store Manager is absent and direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Team Members. Maintain stockroom and sales floor organization, process corporate directives, and manage freight flow and merchandise receipt. Protect company assets including cash, adhere to safety policies, and ensure the sales floor remains sales effective daily. Meet or exceed productivity standards while supporting overall store operations to achieve company deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work flexible, part-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer prior retail and management experience
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high energy, team environment
