Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager with hiring, training, and development of team members while managing all day-to-day store activities, including opening and closing procedures. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Team Members when the Store Manager is absent, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and company policies. Maintain stockroom and sales floor standards, oversee freight flow, and process SSC Corporate directives to meet productivity targets. Handle merchandise receipt, return, and stocking while securing company assets. Work flexible part-time schedules covering days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs from floor level to above shoulder height
- Must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, and repetitive lifting
- Ability to work flexible, part-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience
