Job Summary
Assistant Site Coordinator supports the Site Coordinator with on-site logistics for after-school programming, leading daily meal and field-trip logistics, and serving as the next point of contact with parents, community members, administration, and staff. Role emphasizes safe, inclusive environments and collaboration with the on-site team to deliver high-quality programs and customer service. Responsibilities include coordinating snacks/meals with food services vendors, submitting required documentation, implementing site protocols and safety regulations, tracking compliance and attendance, maintaining required training and certifications, building relationships with participants and families, planning culminating activities/events, and possibly attending off-site field trips. The position is on-site with trainings at the main office and school sites, requires participation in staff development trainings, and may involve evenings/weekends depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance
- TB Test clearance
- First Aid & CPR certification (provided by WR)
- 6 months of experience supervising or leading a team and/or a group of children in a school recreational setting OR 6 units in child development
- Ability to use smart phone for work related business
- Must successfully pass an assessment test evaluating skills in math, reading comprehension, and spelling
- For ABC Unified School District (Cerritos) Candidates ONLY - 48+ College Units or ABC Unified Paraeducator Test Completion
