Job Summary
Assist in operation and supervision of a Regal theatre as a Part-Time Assistant Manager. Responsibilities include supervising non-management staff, hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling; operating projection and audio-visual equipment and related theatre systems; ensuring alcohol certification where applicable; monitoring guest safety, loss prevention, and incident reporting; handling cash deposits and reconciliations; ensuring guest satisfaction; enforcing dress code and training materials; managing costs, inventory, concessions, and promotions; and performing leadership duties under the direction of the General Manager. Requires supervisory or theatre experience, ability to communicate effectively, and proficiency with basic office software; compliance with Regal’s policies and training programs (including ROM and Regal Responsible Beverage Server training when applicable).
Required Qualifications
- At least three months supervisory experience, or 6 months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program, or a combination thereof, or demonstrated leadership potential
- Alcohol beverage server training requirements if duties include selling/serving alcohol (Regal Responsible Beverage Server training)
- Public speaking and effective written and oral communication abilities
- Mathematical ability to perform calculations accurately
- Reasoning ability to identify problems, gather data, and propose solutions
- Proficiency with PC platforms and basic office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets)
- Ability to train, coach, and supervise employees; oversee hiring and scheduling as directed by GM or management
- Compliance with dress code and company policies; adherence to ROM and theatre policies
