Job Summary
Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 at BoxLunch supports store leadership in delivering an exceptional customer experience, trains new associates, and oversees daily operations to meet sales targets. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, processing transactions, driving add-on sales via benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup, communicating fashion trends to management, maintaining stock room organization, executing planogram changes, and developing a collaborative team. Requires at least 1 year of retail experience, strong communication and professionalism, 18+ years old, and a high school diploma or GED. Familiarity with merchandising, KPIs (UPT, ADT), and loss-prevention practices is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail store experience
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Able to navigate the store and merchandise product using approved equipment
- Able to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to open and close the store as needed
- Ability to process sales transactions and drive add-on sales
- Strong communication, time management, and professionalism
- Capability to train and develop team members
- Understanding of store KPIs such as UPT and ADT
- Experience with planogram changes and merchandising
