Job Summary
Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 at a music/pop-culture retail store. Lead customer experience, support store leadership, train new recruits, open/close the store, process sales, drive add-on sales and store KPI performance, assist with planogram updates, stockroom organization, and team development. Leverage product and fandom knowledge to enhance guest experience and coordinate with management and HQ partners. Demonstrates ownership of store operations and security, including managing shortages/overages and ensuring adherence to sales targets and merchandising standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of retail store experience
- Ability to navigate the store and handle merchandise
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Fandom knowledge in music and pop culture (for customer engagement)
