Job Summary
Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 at BoxLunch. Responsible for supporting the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, train new recruits, and assist with daily operations and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, handling register transactions and upsell opportunities (including BOPIS and curbside pickup), understanding sales plans and KPIs (UPT and ADT), implementing planogram changes, communicating fashion trends to management and HQ, preventing theft, maintaining the stock room and store cleanliness, and developing a collaborative team to run the store. Requires strong communication, time management, and leadership abilities, with a minimum of 1 year retail experience and a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail store experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to navigate store environment and operate store equipment
- Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills
- Ability to train and develop teammates
- Willingness to open/close the store and manage register operations
- Familiarity with planograms and merchandising setup
- Capable of handling stock room organization and inventory tasks
