Job Summary
The role is a Part-Time Assistant Manager responsible for operating and supervising the theatre and its staff, upholding policies, and acting as a Regal representative. Key duties include staff training, coaching, scheduling, and supervising employees; operating projection and audio-visual equipment; ensuring alcohol certification where applicable; overseeing safety, loss prevention, and incident reporting; handling guest satisfaction, cash receipts, and deposits; enforcing dress code and participating in the management certification program; assisting with interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary actions under GM oversight; controlling costs and inventory, maintaining theatre maintenance, and supporting marketing and promotions; ensuring timely show times communication and adherence to training materials. Required qualifications emphasize supervisory experience or theatre experience with certification, legal alcohol-service training where applicable, and strong communication, math, and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least three months supervisory experience, or 6 months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program, or a combination thereof, or, after showing potential leadership and/or management skills to theatre management, which is subject to VP approval.
- If the theatre sells alcohol and your assigned duties will include the selling/serving of alcohol, must be of legal age to sell and serve alcohol according to state or local laws. You must complete any required state/local training and obtain the required certificate. In addition, Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.
