Job Summary
Portion vegetables, grains, spices, and sauces into containers; inspect food products for quality and accuracy; assemble and package meals for shipping; label finished products for delivery; and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Work with the team to meet daily production goals while standing or walking for 8+ hours per shift in a refrigerated environment. Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, using hands for repetitive tasks and fine manipulation. Requires vision for food handling and machine operation, with personal protective equipment provided for food safety.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to weigh, measure, and portion food accurately
- Basic arithmetic and counting skills
- Vision required for food handling and machine operation
- Standing and/or walking for 8+ hours per shift in a refrigerated environment (39°F)
- Frequently lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 25 pounds
- Use of hands and fingers for repetitive tasks and fine manipulation
- Personal protective equipment required for food safety
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred
