Job Summary
Part-time As Needed Patient Access Customer Service Representative in a US hospital setting. You will be the first friendly face patients meet at check-in, registering patients across multiple computer systems, answering phones, gathering information quickly and accurately, and building rapport to ease patient anxiety. Training provided for healthcare basics, with opportunities to learn about insurance coverage and hospital workflows while supporting clinicians and emergency staff. You’ll be on your feet, moving between screens, phones, and in-person interactions, delivering compassionate service and contributing to a positive patient experience. Base pay range is $16.50-$20.66 per hour; role is PRN/as-needed with minimum 48 hours per month and on-call shifts; requires high school diploma or GED and strong customer service, plus background check, drug test, and vaccination requirements.
