Job Summary
Maintain a clean and sanitary City of Conroe Animal Shelter facility and provide food and water to the animals in the shelter. Assist with other daily operations as directed. Work emergency and on-call hours, including weekends, while communicating with the public professionally. Handle physical demands involving lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and performing repetitive motions such as climbing, crawling, and kneeling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to communicate with the public in a professional manner at all times
- Must be able to read and write

- Must be able to work around animals for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work emergency and on-call hours
- Must be able to work weekends
