Job Summary
Engage and educate consumers on alcohol products while increasing retail sales during in-store demonstrations at Whole Foods Market. Set up, break down, and manage demonstration areas, ensuring proper product preparation and sampling. Interact with management, clients, and shoppers to recommend products based on their needs and generate positive brand impressions. Accurately complete call reports, paperwork, and training certifications by required deadlines. Shifts range from 2-3.5 hours throughout the week, with mandatory paid training and certification upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Must be over 21
- Willing to conduct adult beverage (alcohol) demonstrations
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Daily internet/email access
- Smartphone
- Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration
- Ability to travel and drive
- Use of proper safety practices when handling products and/or cooking
- Ability to work effectively with management
- Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision
- Ability to make oral presentations
- Mandatory online training and conference calls attendance
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Previous experience as server, bartender or have worked with alcohol preferred
- RASC a plus
- Experience in event marketing, demonstrations, sales, brand promotion or retail/grocery
- Significant experience in event marketing, demonstrations, sales, or retail/grocery is highly desirable
