Job Summary
Maintain the clean and safe condition of the aircraft fleet by thoroughly cleaning interior surfaces, from cabins to lavatories and windows, using industry-approved products. Wash and sanitize seats, tray tables, and overhead compartments while ensuring galleys are stocked and organized per airline standards. Remove trash, vacuum floors, replace consumables, and inspect cabins for damage or lost items. Clean the cockpit area without interfering with controls and handle chemicals safely. Coordinate with team members to meet cleaning schedules, document tasks, and report inventory needs. Participate in training sessions and uphold safety procedures and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
- Communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices such as iPads, tablets, computers, and mobile devices
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Must be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Must be able to reach with arms and grasp with hands
- Must be able to push and pull
- Must be able to crawl and crouch at times in confined tight spaces
- Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and kneel
- Must be able to climb and work at elevated heights
- Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
