Job Summary
Provide afterschool care and personal care for two children, including mobility assistance for a 12-year-old with cerebral palsy; manage afterschool routines, snacks, downtime, and activity transitions; provide weekend care coverage two weekends per month; light household management related to the children; assist with transportation needs including emergency driving if needed; build a calm, structured, and supportive environment and establish a strong, positive relationship with both children.
Required Qualifications
- Prior childcare experience required
- Special needs experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable supporting a child with cerebral palsy and personal care needs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Covid vaccination
