Job Summary
Conduct daily attendance checks, complete incident reports, and supervise activities to ensure safety during the 3pm–6pm Monday–Friday aftercare schedule. Assist the Group Leader in maintaining a positive classroom environment, facilitating the Friendship Cares academic and enrichment curricula, and supporting general housekeeping tasks. Greet parents and children, participate in dismissal procedures, and attend all staff meetings and training programs. Maintain a professional attitude, treat all children with dignity, and report any issues to the Extended Day Site Coordinator. Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of supervised experience with children under fifteen, and valid occupational licensing.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Requirements of the licensing agency
- At least six (6) months of supervised occupational experience working with school age children under the age of fifteen (15) years at a duly authorized school or camp, a licensed Child Development Center, or the equivalent
- Full course of a vaccination against COVID-19
