Job Summary
Maintain a positive classroom environment and facilitate the Friendship Cares academic and enrichment curricula under direct supervision of a Group Leader. Complete daily attendance accurately, assist with general housekeeping and dismissal procedures, and supervise all activities to ensure safety. Report any problems to the Extended Day Site Coordinator, complete incident reports promptly, and greet parents and children with professionalism. Participate in dismissal procedures, staff meetings, and required training programs while treating all children with dignity and respect.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Requirements of the licensing agency
- Warm and friendly personality
- Sensitivity to the feelings and needs of others
- Ability to relate well to children
- Willingness to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the School's program and philosophy
- At least six (6) months of supervised occupational experience working with school age children under the age of fifteen (15) years at a duly authorized school or camp, a licensed Child Development Center, or the equivalent
- Full course of a vaccination against COVID-19
