Job Summary
Lead daily operations for an after-school program site, facilitating enrichment, academic support, and character-building activities while maintaining a safe environment. Supervise site staff through coaching, training, and meetings; manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures. Build relationships with families and school partners to communicate updates and represent the organization professionally. Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, maintain accurate records, and respond to incidents or emergencies. Work Monday through Friday from 2:55 PM to 6:30 PM at Rocky Mountain Academy in Evergreen, CO. CPR/First Aid certification required; experience in Montessori schools is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead staff while actively engaging with children
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- 21 years old or older
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or related field
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and 1 year of experience working in ECE
- 30 semester credit hours in approved ECE subject areas + 6 months (910 hrs) experience
- Early Childhood Professional Credential - Level 3 or higher
- Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Available to work all five days a week for the full shift
- Must meet one of the following: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or related field; Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and 1 year of experience working in ECE; 30 semester credit hours in approved ECE subject areas + 6 months (910 hrs) experience; Early Childhood Professional Credential - Level 3 or higher
