Job Summary
Lead daily after-school program operations, facilitating enrichment, academic support, and recreation while maintaining a safe, organized environment. Supervise site staff through coaching, training, and team meetings, and manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures. Build relationships with families and school partners, communicate program updates, and ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and safety policies. Work Monday through Friday from 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM as a part-time leader across Atlanta-area sites.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead staff while actively engaging with children
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field preferred
