Job Summary
Plan, facilitate, and supervise daily activities for students in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment. Collaborate with the Community Schools Coordinator to execute a dynamic programming schedule, manage classroom and shared space housekeeping, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Communicate regularly with families to celebrate successes and set individual goals, while documenting incidents and maintaining records for attendance, meals, and anecdotal notes. Track positive behaviors and social-emotional skills, reporting updates to leadership and caregivers. Work Monday through Friday and Wednesday evenings from 2:30 to 6 pm, starting August 2026.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience working with kids ages 4-12
- Ability to commit to a set schedule that varies infrequently
- Ability to work with students and adults of diverse backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels
- Possess good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must demonstrate responsibility, a desire to help others, discretion, and flexibility
- Ability to work set schedule consistently
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
- Some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
- Significant fine finger dexterity
- Generally, 30% sitting, 50% walking, and 20% standing
