Job Summary
Lead engaging after-school science sessions at local partner schools, delivering structured enrichment lessons that introduce students to practical science concepts through safe, real-world experiments and demonstrations. Responsibilities include leading hands-on activities, maintaining a positive classroom environment, managing materials and cleanup, coordinating with school staff and Concorde program contacts, and adapting activities to student needs. Possible topics include everyday chemistry using household materials, states of matter and chemical reactions, kitchen science and cooking chemistry, simple machines, environmental science, and recording observations. Candidates should have at least 60 college credits, be comfortable teaching basic science concepts to youth, possess strong communication and facilitation skills, and be reliable and professional.
